Azure SQL Database NextGen Release Preview

In this week's episode of Data Exposed Scott welcomes back Tony Petrossian, Group Program Manager for business continuity in Azure SQL Database, who introduces us to the preview release of Azure SQL Database. This NextGen release introduces near-complete SQL Server compatibility and better performance for Premium tiers as well as easier management of large databases, support for key programming functions, a new S3 level, and more. Tony wows with two great demos showcasing the near-complete SQL Server compatibility and then finishes off the session showing us a nice demo highlighting the performance improvements for the Premium offering.
