How to enable SQL Database Geo-Replication

- Log in to the Azure Portal
- On the left side of the screen select BROWSE and then select SQL Databases
- Navigate to your database blade, select the Geo Replication map and click Configure Geo-Replication.
- Navigate to Geo-Replication blade. Select the target region.
- Navigate to the Create Secondary blade. Select an existing server in the target region or create a new one.
- Select the secondary type (Readable or Non-readable)
- Select Destination Database Server (or optionally create one)
- Click Create to complete the configuration
